Find username and password for router?

PLEASE READ: I really need the username and password for my router. My housing management dude or landlord put his own username and password on mine but he doesn't remember what they are. I can't reset the router, because then all the custom settings on it would reset, and I wouldn't be able to use the internet. I already tried using brutus, and hydra and medusa are far too complicated for me to even touch. Please, can someone help me? I really need them.
