I'm scared of my rabbit sometimes?

I really love him though. I tried hugging him, I put my arms around his face and I probably blocked his way and he bit me. My sister says that he bites ours knees. We let him out everyday and when he comes near my leg, I get scared and I'm afraid that he'll bite. He bit my jeans. He loves licking people, my sister said when he was licking her, it turned into a bite. So now I'm really afraid to let him lick me. When hes out, he follows me sometimes, and I get really scared when hes close to my leg. What should I do? Why does he even lick me? I don't think it's because he loves me, he licks everyone, even strangers. I got him this year on April 29th. Hes 5-6 months old, English Spot/Dwarf rabbit. He also loves biting other things, what should I do now.
