I like a really close friend of mine, but she has a boyfriend now...see details :P?

A friend of mine since 7th grade (we just graduated college now) and I are close and she has on and off liked me for years I just never really did anything about it. Thinking more of it lately I think I do like her but she has a (tall, glasses, super skinny, geeky ;) ) boyfriend. Last summer she liked me and told another close friend of ours, so what do you think I should do...or not do anything because I wouldn't want to have this happen to me if I was the random boyfriend.... :( Or should I beat him up since I am in shape and go to the gym everyday and could totally take him! lol, thanks for the help!
