Sometimes when an open bite is treated a retainer can't fix the teeth going back to the open bite, the retainer is meant to retain the position as far as alignment goes, not to bring the teeth down which is what is required with an open bite. Slight over-jet is ok, you don't want teeth edge on edge that will cause breakage and injury of the tooth. The only way to fix an open bite is braces, Invisiline does not treat an open bite. To close an open bite it is required to have the use of rubber bands to move the teeth down. You'd need them again, but you can get clear braces. Generally the clear are about $400 extra. Part of it may be because you aren't wearing your retainers, the reason I know that is because if over jet increased, you aren't wearing them, if over jet didn't increase your teeth are being retained.
